Service Description

Level Required: Intermediate Sand Island, Waabaabikaa-minis is the fifth largest of the 22 islands in the national lakeshore. This shoreline has it all, rock shelves, clay banks, intricate sea caves, and long sandy beaches. There is a large open water crossing to get to the south shoreline. From there the paddle continues north to view the Swallow Point Sea Caves. A much needed beach break or a quick hike to the historical lighthouse follows and then we will hop back into the kayaks to return to Sand Bay. This tour requires good physical fitness and includes a snack. Sorry kids, this adventure is for 14+
