Tour Description

Level Required: Beginner - Intermediate This tour offers an up close look on the Native American history present here in the Apostles. Sea caves, rock formations, a natural sea arch and a historic shipwreck encompass our time on the water. The round trip paddle length is 6-7 miles and will take 4 hours.

100% refund due to weather cancellations. You are also able to move your booking to a different time slot or day depending on availability.

Age + Size Requirements

  • Minors under the age of 13 you will need at least one eligible adult paddler.

  • Meyers Beach only allows guests above the age of 14 accompanied with an adult.

  • Kayaks are best suited for guests under 6'4" and maximum waist circumference of 50 inches. Total weight per person cannot exceed 230 lbs and total kayak limit is 450 lbs.

What to Wear

  • Light, breath-able clothing that dries quickly. Swimsuit is needed for under wetsuit. 

  • Extra layers and a wind/waterproof jacket. 

  • Comfortable shoes or sandals that can get wet.

Paddler Guidelines

  • Some level of physical fitness is required as most kayaking trips are 4-6 miles long. On occasion, eligible persons in your group may be asked to help carry kayaks to and from launching point.

What to Bring

  • Bring water and snacks necessary dependent on the length of the paddle. 

  • Sun screen

  • Bug Repellant 

Parking

  • Meyers Beach and Sand Bay have a $5 parking fee per car that needs to be paid prior to the start of the tour.

  • Most launching spots do not have service so plan accordingly.

  • 3% National Park fee included.
